Legacies Unbound
Right, I don’t blog much. Don’t blog at all, really, for the last couple of years. But I’m going to make a bit more of an effort. We’ll see how it shakes out.
Today, I’m going to talk a little about Legacy of Ash.

Today, I’m going to talk a little about Legacy of Ash.
Terrance Dicks is one of those men who will never, ever, be celebrated enough. A hugely prolific writer, he’ll mostly be remembered for his many contributions to classic Doctor Who, both on screen and off (though he did a great deal more).
Over on social media, I promised my thoughts on the Hidden London Aldwych tour…
After a long, contemplative silence, it’s time for (overdue) book news! Where do we start? Let’s start with a new release. I talked about Oathgold a little while back. It’s escaped the Osprey Games publishing vault (one assumes they have a publishing vault, or possibly a publishing nest of some kind, but I digress…) and is now […]
I think we’re due a book update, don’t you? After all, it’s been a while since we’ve had something to buy in paper and ink. So, without further ado, let’s talk about Oathgold. Promises were made. Promise are kept. Well, here we are. Another month, and another Coldharbour story is about to take flight, ready to land in Kindles everywhere. Want to know more? Keep reading…
Well, this has been a long time coming. I’ve been wanting to get some more Coldharbour shorts out into the world (well, not so short – I believe ‘novelette’ is the correct term, but I digress). In a rare burst of efficiency, that moment is now – starting with Roots a tale of love, family, identity… […]
This past week has seen Vermintide 2 rush out of the gloom of Beta and into the eerie Morrslieb-light of full PC release. Five heroes stand between the Reikland and utter destruction at the hands of rapacious skaven and unstoppable Chaos-worshippers. Thirteen levels of brutal, fast-paced first-person melee combat. Fifteen careers to follow. Over fifty […]
I’m seeing a bunch of memes and comments repudiating the idea that Wonder Woman represents a breakthrough for women in movies, and they do so by comparing Gal Gadot’s Diana to Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley (Aliens). Essentially, ‘Ripley got there first, your argument is invalid, redo from start.’ This idea misses the point. Misses it like […]
Peter Capaldi recently announced that he’s handing in the keys to the TARDIS after the next season. It’s not really a surprise. He’s easily the strongest candidate to have taken ownership since Doctor Who was brought back from the dead, but he’s not been well-served by the material. This has, of course, been a feast […]
