Oathgold for the Taking

I think we’re due a book update, don’t you? After all, it’s been a while since we’ve had something to buy in paper and ink. So, without further ado, let’s talk about Oathgold.

Kazran is a pursuer, a member of an ancient bounty-hunting order. Wielding the magics of the mythical Court of Crows, he has lived a life dedicated to bringing justice to the wronged, without fear or favour.

But when circumstance forces him to accept commission from a notorious crime lord, Kazran becomes entangled in a web of deception and betrayal. As he scours Frostgrave's ruins in search of a young woman and her stolen magical treasure, he finds more questions than answers. Who is she? What exactly did she steal? Why did she run? And just where does Kazran's mysterious benefactor stand on the matter?

In the end, the greatest question remains - does justice have any place in the Frozen City?

Oathgold makes for my... let's see... fourth foray into the Frozen City, and the second full-length novel.

(For the record, the others have been The Bargain in Frostgrave, Tales of the Frozen City, Second Chances, and Unfinished Business in Spellcaster: The Frostgrave Magazine.)

I don't wished to stray too much beyond the teaser blurb above, but I'm happy to confirm we're once more lurking in the vicinity of Rekamark - the trader's town first introduced in Second Chances. Does this mean you'll be seeing some familiar characters? Well, Yelen and Mirika aren't around. You see, Oathgold is set before Second Chances. But those of you who've been following my work for awhile know that I seldom miss an opportunity to tell stories within stories, so expect at least one fan-favourite appearance as the story unfolds. As for the rest of the book? Well, you'll just have to grab a copy and find out, won't you?

Oathgold releases 28th of June. You can purchase it direct from Osprey or from Amazon.

And if you're looking at Amazon, why not purchase or pre-order one of the following?
