After months and months of bobbing along at three hundred and ninety-some likes, my Facebook page has finally broken the four hundred mark!
By way of celebration, this website has seen a minor redesign – whether you’re looking to find free stuff, or links to books you can buy, everything should now be a lot easier to find. There’s also plenty of room for it to grow, and I intend of it to do exactly that. There’s plenty of Coldharbour content and updates yet to come, as well as more short stories and the like. We have only just begun. I’m also changing the name of the Facebook page to The Tower of Stars, bringing it into line with the website, Twitter feed and so on. Don’t worry, there’s no change to the content, or what I’ll ramble about/promote on there.
More importantly from your point of view, and as a little thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the last couple of years, I’m making another short story available for free! We’re taking a break from Coldharbour’s travails, and taking a trip down to Cornwall. Just the thing for a British summer.
Kerren Morgan left Trekerris five years ago. She’s never looked back – not until now. Unable to ignore her father’s cryptic letter, she returns home to the dwindling fishing village, expecting yet another bitter quarrel.
What she finds instead… Well, that would be telling, wouldn’t it?
The Sigh of the Sea is a standalone short story, set in Trekerris – a small village near the fictional town of Carann Bridge. Should I ever write a sequel to Queen of Eventide, Trekerris will have a part to play but, for now, it has troubles all of its own, as Kerren’s about to find out…
Grab a copy, take a look, and be sure to let me know what you think – either in the comments below, or over on my Facebook page.
In the meantime, stay tuned for more announcements as the week progresses.
